America has faced many
crises in recent years.
And now we are at a crossroads.
Those crises can be traced to the steady decay
of our national set of shared values and principles.
Those things which bind a people together,
and provide a society with stability and purpose.
Restoring them is the only true long-term solution. If we do not, all other progress will be temporary.
We believe the best way to do this is to support the people who are entrusted with transferring them to the next generation. That is, parents and teachers.
The most important thing we can do is help them.
Education is not values-neutral.
The only question is which values are going to be advanced.
