False narratives and damaging ideologies are being advanced throughout our society.
They are being advanced in our children’s TV shows, in movies and books, by the news, politicians, and by our institutions.
They undermine and degrade the common set of shared values and principles that are the foundation of our country, that make us who we are, and bind us together.
They sow division and teach our children to hate themselves, hate each other, and hate their country.
They produce citizens who aren't capable of preserving their Republic, and don’t even know why they should.
Education is not values-neutral.
The only question is which values are going to be advanced.
